Would they be willing to change the strap if the watch wasn't purchased from THG?Was wondering if places like THG or Cortina are willing to perform FOC service of shortening length of straps/bracelets if the watch is purchased from overseas dealer...
No harm trying but I seriously hope they will. Why? Simply because even City Chain (C.C) does this. I have changed straps and resized watch bracelets at different outlets of C.C, and they willingly performed the services F.O.C. I have to admit that those watches I'd sent in were brands/models that they also sell, but I did admit that the watches were not bought from their company. Still, they did it with a smile..
I offered to pay a small token but was politely rejected by the staff . In the end, I submitted very positive feedback to the company, quoting the staff names particularly.
So if the watch 'giants' like THG can't do that, then I rest my case.
