Well, it was inspired by Pam shoe-changing; so I ordered from KH a strap to try it on the Conductor.
I am glad that the combo went well.


BTW, this old SE Conductor has got a big, seriously bulging (convex) dome.
Really, it makes me a bit of paiseh cos everyone who is so curious about the dome...

Hey bro no need to be paiseh lah, you are owning a rare piece limited edition beauty, indeed the LE glass is more bulge than the normal conductor in my observation, was nearly bought one couple of years back but having too many wish list end up skip it, now a bit regret..

Anyone track the accuracy of your Ball watch?

My ETA 2824 Fireman, non cosc, is running +3~4s a day.

Cheap and running more accurate than my sub. haha

My Engineer II 40mm is running abt +2 TO 3 mins a month. I agree tat Ball watch is cheap, accurate and also with gd quality n design.

No offends. But man, you guys must be the so call "high-income earner" where you spend more than $1k on watch and say it is cheap. Care to sell your BALL at less than $100 since you call it cheap watch? I would say BALL is affordable to the general public but not cheap.

Just read the Strait Time on Sat where one married couple who has combine income of $150k claiming that they are only middle income and cannot afford a third child... What is wrong with Singaporean, so much money and still shout poor.

I have no children yet though the last one give up on me and my wife last year when it just few months old in her tummy.

But prior to that, I actually did a small calculation when I was still full of hope,

birth(public hospital) ~$5k
milk ~$2k
food ~$2k
clothing ~$1k
maid/childcare~$6k
other etc ~$3k.

Me and my wife do not make more than $90k and we do not drive.

Or maybe you drive a porche and wear only rolex and PP so 150k also not enough.

That is a brave sharing Bro on what you gone through. Never give up !!! . If having a child means giving up on car & this material hobby. It is a no brainer answer, of course child. Can't bring your watch to the incinerator, right.

Well, I accidentally brought the thread a bit . But we are in a democratic society; different people have different thinking, mindset and upbringing. So if they can justify their words then they have valid reasons..

I agree with you that you cannot really bring your watch to incinerator. But you can always do what IWC or PP promote... pass to your junior provided that it would not cost a bomb to re-service it and the brand is still kicking butt.
