International Watch Company (IWC) - Price Increase

I just learnt yesterday that IWC has raised its prices. The Mark XVI Pilot Classic (leather) is now at S$6,000 (from S$5,600), and the Pilot Chrono (leather) at $7,600 (no sure of the previous RRP).

Nt 2 sure but if you look at it, I believe IWC did not effect any price increase over the past two years, when most other brands were increasing their prices like no tomorrow.

But still, what a time to increase the prices so much when the euro is very weak (though going back up a bit the last few days)

i went to corina watch yesterday...

mark 16 was 6k n max discount they give was 15%. cannot go higher..

they told me the price went up and discount went down.

I heard about this increase as well. Could it be due to Bezel?

i dont think IWC or most brands increase their global prices at the same time. IWC raised their UK prices last year during summer i think. Panerai will be raising Euro prices in June. I think the sterling took a beating since 2009 hence the adjustment, now Euro has to keep up. So Asian price adjustment is a "about time" kinda scenario

I placed an order for my IWC in March, we agreed on a price but unfortunately when it was time to collect my watch this month, price has already increased as stated. So have to foot the increase; I was also given the option to cancel the purchase.

But I like the watch too much to change my decision!

MARK 16 is using ETA base calibre... IMO not worth $6K!

U can get a HAMILTON JAZZMASTER equvalent for < $1K ... also come with ETA calibre

For hamilton, its just another ETA calibre
