portofino at what price

hi there, just wondering anyone can advice for a 2006 Portofino, how much is the resale value now? Thinking of getting one. Any IWC Lao jiaos can advice? Thanks

Not much, considering that a more recent model was recently sold at about $2000 by bro Johnjoux.

Best is to buy a used one... then won't lose so much when reselling.

they're entry level and typically nobody sells them because of the resell value

i do own a 1990s portofino.

The standard piece (not the moonphase series ) is definitely entry level for IWC, and the current models are really nice dress watch.

The older models, well, of a different size dial, no longer in production, were not that expensive to begin with, and not great resale value, thus would rather keep it for souvenirs rather than sell it cheaply.
