    nice watch and good price!
6R15 is very accurate movement, one week only faster by 1min for my spirit.
hack and handwind, a lot better than my samurai...
how heavy is it? come with rubber strap?

      Hi Sev,

My sumo is running about -10s/day though. It is a hefty watch and shows alot of wrist presence.

There are two options for it, either a bracelet or rubber strap which is slightly cheaper.

        Hi All,

        Newbie here.
I notice my month old seiko diver's using 7S26 movement is running +20s/day.
I would like to get it to work like 10s/day if possible.

Should I bring it to Seiko service center or to any other watch shop to fine tune it?

Has anyone brought their seiko to a watch expert to tune before? how much would such a job cost?

        Cheers

Let the watch 'break in'. One month usually it's broken in already. I wouldn't do anything to the watch. +20sec/day for Seiko is acceptable to me, but if it disturbs you, bring to any local watchmaker for fine tuning. No idea how much they charge

            Thanks for the advise Hary!

Funny... my Seiko is +20s/day, but another watch using Miyota 8215 is -6s/day.
Have to re-adjust both watch once a week.

            Cheers

or if it runs too fast, adjust it late a bit let say 1-2 min, then u don't have to adjust too often.

Or you try to put the watch in different position if you dont wear it at night, it might shows different accuracy

                Advice

Is $248 for a brand new Seiko monster (black) worth buying? TIA.

I brought my 6R20 to the Seiko Service Centre to have it demagnitised as the watch was running fast. The watch runs fast when the hairspring is magnetised. However, the poor timing was not due to magnetism. The technician spent half and hour to regulate it and didn't charge me for it.

Hi bro kermit, I've been searching for the samurai but can't seem to find one. Is this the auto full titanium (SBDA003J)? Can advise me price and how to get one like yours?

                                Tx.
