Advisory : Verification of IWC watches

like to enquire if the IWC service centre in Singapore does verification of watches and if so how much?

many thanks in advance

I just went to IWC boutique at ION and they said the cost is $500 (which i almost fainted) and will take 3 months because now all IWC watch must verified at Swizerland.
