  • Regarding Ceramic Casing for IWC

Just a question regarding the ceramic casing for Top gun watches.

Can scratches be removed from the casing by any means?

If not, what are the solutions?

    Thanks, Sean

It should not get scratched in the first place and I doubt normal polishing cloth like cape cod can remove it.

      No scratches but dings

I have a top gun and amazingly I chipped it after only a week of use (How painful!!) Anyhow I realize that u can't actually scratch it but u can certainly chip it n create a ding. My bro... wear it with care coz the moment u think that it is indestructible, thats when u start to chip it. Especially if urs a single chronograph...they have stopped producing this piece of beauty.

my friend's single chrono is v badly scratched.
i asked him to go back to IWC and see if they cld polish it off or something.
seems like the ceramic is not so tough after all.

I have seen broken/chipped ceramic Top Gun near the crown area but scratches are really something new to me. Can you post pictures?
