  • 20. Lüm-Tec Tungsten Carbide M7 with bracelet (sold-out model)

I know this is already sold-out but the watch with the bracelet just looks very very awesome, that I want to share with all.

The watch with the bracelet weighs a whopping 287grams!!! This tungsten carbide will be the same case as you would see for some models in 2010 using various ETA automatic movements.

(I know someone will be very happy with his M7 )

    Very nice!

Hows the lume for this model? For a full charge, typically how long can the lume last?

Thanks! Too bad I don't have a M7 in order.

The lume is fantastic. Same as like any full lume dial models from Lum-Tec. The only thing is, because it is full lume, it needs a real good charge from sunlight or UV light to show its maximum brightness, otherwise, many will think it is not as bright.

Typically, the first 2 hours or so is really bright, thereafter, it is visible as eyes are used to the dark surrounding.

Pictures really do not do justice to their lume. I will have to think of ways to capture the lume in pics. Videos are worst to capture.

Frankly, i'd rather have a long lasting lume than something that shines brightly for a short duration and fades into a barely usable lume after 2 hours. I recalled Reactor watches claiming they have a SL lume that lasts for 24hrs. It'll be great if such a lume technology is available to other brands as well.

yes of course! I understand where you are coming from.

The only type of lume that can be consistently bright throughout the day or night will be the utilization of tritium tubes.

I think Lum-Tec will roll out a combination of tritium and lume compound in the near future. They are already buying all the tools to make their dials..just give some time, you will see..

I am not sure what is your version of "bright" but the GX that I have on my C1 watch has never failed to let me see through the night.

By the way, phantom crystal will definitely make the lume less bright, so are the other colors like blue and orange if you were to "compare orange, apples and watermelons at the same level. "

MERRY CHRISTMAS BY THE WAY AND TO ALL AT SG-ROC.
