I must say it does look enticing especially the red dates and the special no.30, n also the picture of the u-boat. Haven't seen the real thing but 47mm is a nice size coz personally I love big watches, but the price is defintely not very attractive leh...

Seems like EZM 6 is the only recent true innovation from Sinn. The mod on 7750 is done tastefully like the way they did for 5100 in EZM 1. This U47 with a submarine logo reminds me of Pam. I do not understand the 12 and 6 thingy. With this pricing, rather get the EZM6.

How many of you really bought this "47mm" monster U1?

Nice piece with Tegimented Steel Case, much better than usual U1 or U1SDR but size really a monster.

If you can wear a usual U-Boat watch, then this might be an idea one for you fellows.

Price really can get you a U6S series.....which is far more superior than another piece of metal by THG to market its 30th Ann.

Tried it on my wrist today. It doesn't feel nor look very much bigger than my normal U1 so for the price, i'd say it 's just not worth it. For the price, i'd rather get a base PAM.

I tried it on the other day when I went to THG at Raffles Hotel just to say hi to the boutique manager and although the first impression was that it didn't really look that big but when I tried it on, it did feel bigger.

I was wearing my U Black that day and there was a slight difference to the feel on my wrist.

But like what many of you have commented, the price is not really that worth it.

Price don't give the justification to the build and quality or even brand name.

Wondering how many Sinn Collectors bought this piece at a nice price. THG said sold out for all pieces or basically just another marketing efforts to "keep the price"

Quite a few THG outlet still carry this watch. at least the one at millenia walk, tangs and lucky plaza still has this. so is not sold out as claim.

nice big heavy watch though, but the price is too steep, even with 30% discount. wait till the annual watch sales perhaps.
