  • IWC Ingenieur Chrono

    Dear experts,

Can anyone advise which the movement for IWC Ingenieur Chrono is made in-house or not? If not, any idea whose movement is it?

    Thank you in advance.

Not in house, ETA modified. Only 3227 and the new mission earth ingy is in house movement 801100 (not sure the number).

The chrono is a modified ETA7750 based caliber but I have seen the movement myself, it is very refined.

If you have the opportunity, get the non chrono SS ingenieur 3227 instead. This one is by far showing the technical achievement (anti magnetic) as well as Pellaton winding equipped cal 80110 movement.
