about sinn u1 prices...
today i been to one of the THG..one of de salesman also show me tis U1,he told me its was a very demanding watch in the market n som of the staff also have it too..list price 3300 n less 30% max..i wonder if it is good price in the market..the limited edition ones is not here yet and the salesman told me be here ard oct..i wonder how much for the limited one cost?sinns fan here can tell me?

I got my U1 in last Dec and it was abt S$2051 after discount. Watch prices are always going up so if u like and can afford it, buy it! Sinn U series are great! Very solid and very hardy and very nice, a great tool watch. recently, it seems that there seems no shortage of u1 and u2 series in the market. if my memory serves me correctly, about 3 of our members bought the sinn u1 within the past 2 months. each time i drop by THG, there is stock on display.
probably some sales pitch to push the sinn watches. limited edition = tempus edition? it has been around for quite awhile already. rumours is that there will be a all black edition for the u2 series. could the sales person be referring to this upcoming models?
30% is considered standard discount for most sinn watches already. if you can get more discount on top of that, it is a good bargain. anyway, my recent purchase of 3 sinn watches, the prices paid are more than 30%.

I just got my U1 yesterday with 30% discount. They said that's the max they can give but as I am already late for an appointment and desperate for the watch so just hoot lah. I have a feeling that they might be able be give just a little more discount. Very nice watch indeed but its heavier than i expected which could be due to the submarine steel used. By the way, anyone knows where can I get aftermarket straps for it, leather or others?

As there is demand for leather for the U1,here i`m letting go if any 1 intrested.in leather pouch waiting to be mounted.
For sale with THG leather strap pouch,original Sinn strap together with original Sinn sand blasted buckle (was for the U1 but prefered the rubber strap).used once only.Package price is 120 Firm.
This is not after market..its original frm Sinn
