  • IWC’s Clever “Ambient Advertising"...

Anyone ever think we will see this on our MRT trains and buses ?

    BUS WRIST STRAPS :

This is one clever way to “encourage” potential customers to see what that Big Pilot Chrono might look like on their wrist. These bus wrist straps advertising the IWC Big Pilot Chrono are a form of what is called “ambient advertising” ie. advertising that seeks to blend in with its environment in clever ways for a more memorable impression. I expect IWC’s ad agency were patting themselves on the back for devising this ingenious way to get people to “try on” the product. though I wonder if not feeling tempted to buy will they instead think things like, “Wah lau! That is one dem big watch!”

“Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power.”
Abraham Lincoln (American 16th US President from1861-65, who brought about the emancipation of slavery from 1809-1865).

“Watch your thoughts, for they become words.
Watch your words, for they become actions.
Watch your actions, for they become habits.
Watch your habits, for they become character.
Watch your character, for it becomes your destiny.”
