Bell & Ross became the official supplier to The French Air Force in 2008. This marriage became particularly apt as B&R took inspiration directly from aircraft cockpit instrument panels - ergo ‘The Instrument collection’. Looks aside, these watches are also required to function precisely and reliably, adhering to the specific requirements of a fighter pilot. For 2009 we see the launch of the Instrument BR Heritage, combining reference from 1940s history, the vintage-style hands and numerals; with modern techniques in watch making, bead blasted steel, carbon powder coated dials and anti-reflection sapphire glass.
