Franck Muller pays tribute to José Mourinho with the launch, in a limited numbered edition, of "The Special One", a mechanical self-winding exclusive chronograph.
A Single Case
The "Special One" by Franck Muller combines the sporting spirit with the subtlety of timing. The flagship Cintrée Curvex case is designed for the first time in 18k rose gold, with a solid brushed finish. The crown and the chronograph pushers are in black surrounded by an exclusive protection that forms an extension of the case.
Special One Dial
The black dial, with Guilloché soleil decoration is detailed in pink gold consistent with the case; an oversized Special 1, also in gold, is in place of the 1-hour marker. With the exception of Special 1, all numbers are luminescent. At 3 is the chronograph minute counter; at 9, the small seconds. At 6 the date is revealed in a small window.
Franck Muller "The Special One" is accompanied by a crocodile skin strap in matte black with massive pink gold buckle in brushed finish. The luxury presentation box is customized with an original signature of José Mourinho, made directly by the trainer during a visit to Franck Muller Watchland. The chronograph is limited to 41 pieces, José Mourinhos age when he won the Champions League at the service of the Porto Football Club in the 2003/2004 season. On sale exclusively by the official agents of Franck Muller Portugal for the "modest" sum of 34,950 Euro.
