What's a good travel watch?

I would wear my UN GMT +/- whenever I travel to Europe or the US, as I like its easy to use/read GMT function.


For regional travel, I tend to wear my GO Senator Week, as I find the day indication rather useful.

Great choice It seems to be my favorite of the lot I listed - love the dial layout! Only unsure of the comfort of the rubber strap; I tried my Pam rubber strap for a while and didn't really like the feel of it when I perspired.

Agreed that Rolex, even the more affordable pieces, are risky when travelling because they are just too well-known internationally. Thus I suppose GMTIIc is out as a travelling watch for me, even though it is the iconic GMT watch.

Wah, if you tell your friends that your Pam 233 costs only a few hundred, what if they ask the second question - "Where can I buy it?"

Normally they don't but if they ask I will tell them to try at Bugis hehe... Just kidding..

Normally I just wear something I feel like wearing... the most I lock it in hotel safe if I think not so safe wearing it to some places but most of time I am safe...

True true... Just wear what you want lah... Just keep your guard up a little... Thats what Singaporeans always do overseas right? But locking in the hotel safe might not be very safe IMO...

I am currently in Finland and is wearing my explorer 2. The GMT function helps a lot when travelling.

I actually wear a very high quality copy Cartier, every time I travel.

That way if I do get robbed, my heart will not be so pain; and I'd gladly hand it over.
