What are your thoughts on TAG Heuer Formula 1 ChronoTimer

I saw this watch and am extremely keen to get it

Correct me if im wrong,but i guess the list price is around 2k?

Anyone own this watch or any thoughts or reviews?

I'm not a fan of the Formula 1 series and I wouldn't spend so much on a quartz. However, the most important thing about buying a watch is your own feelings. If you really like it, just go ahead. You're buying it for yourself after all.

I own a F1 Chrono. Seldom wear but the quality is not too good. The soft rubber crown protectors have broken off and the rubber piece that protects the casing at the 9 o'clock position have disintegrated. The second hand for the stop watch does not return to the 12 position when reset. Spoilt liao.

There is no replacements for the rubber parts and you will have to change the casing at 400+ dollars. Repair cost for the stop watch function I also don't know how much . Not really worth it for a watch I paid $1240 new and 2years light wear only.

I had it before. The crown is very sensitive. Will keep changing mode from time to time when you swing your arm or shake your hand.

Can be adjusted back one.... I think the boutiques or service center should be able to do it quickly. I remember it is through some crown position and pressing the stopwatch buttons.....
