  • IWC Strap

    Hiya all big kor-kors,

I have an IWC Pilot Chrono & my strap is 'sort-of' wearing out rather quick. I have tried looking around Singapore but gotten no luck as everyone told me it's 21mm, which is an odd size. I know some of you guys ordered it from the net, but anyone knows where I could get it locally. I would wanna do my part as a Singaporean & help boast the local economy & create jobs!!!

    Thanks in advance!

    Alex

if you dont mind a non perfect fit.
you can easily use a 22mm.
that means 0.5mm squeezed in on each side.
      leather is pretty flexible.

22mm brings you a lot more options also

I'm also wanting something like this. I still prefer to feel and touch the item before I commit to buy, esp so when it is a watch band. There is a website that sells IWC straps: http://www.thewatchboys.com/, and review has it that it is good. I'm still contemplating if I shld buy one from them or hunt around the local shops.

Yeah, I have dealt with Jason before & I like his service. But, if it's not something special or out of the ordinary, then I prefer to get it locally, if not, on the net.

            Thanks Rotan

Yeah, if no choice then I will get it from the net. Thing is, I would like to feel & touch it & see if the strap speaks to me!! Hahaha, sorry for being fussy lah, it's not as if I am buying shoe laces for my shoes!

Think that will be my last resort, Doc. And yes, I have seen some really nice 22mm; perhaps I may have to do that.

The think is buying from the net is I wont be able to touch the product, but I guess that will be where I am heading next if I get no luck locally. Or to use a 22mm to squeeze into my watch, more options too.

The other way is to use a 22mm as Deck said; I might try that if it doesnt look to ugly!

Hi , my Patek is using a odd 21mm lug , order 1 straps from the net , made for IWC , for around $50sg , at that kind of price , i really got nothing much to complain .
I also order another alligator straps , customize to fit my PP orginal buckle from J&S , shld be collecting it by tomorrow , IMO , J&S service very good , when i 1st gotten the straps , i told him , i'm expecting the straps to be thicker , but since done alry , "Bo Pian " ,But to my surprise , jason told me its ok , he bring it home to redo it for me .....
This is what i call top custormer service !!!
Will try to post pics of the straps when i get it back tomorrow .

                        Iwc

You can try Visiotime at Republic plaza.. I changed my IWC strap there the last time...not very expensive and I even got a unbranded deployment buckle there.

I did & gotten one for my Portuguese, but they dont have any 21mm, which is the size for the Pilot Chrono; guess I will have to buy from the net.

Think the size is 22mm, which is rather easy to find. Try VisioTime at Shenton Way. I have 2 straps for my Portuguese, a black & a navy blue; perhaps you could try brown, it does change the look of the watch totally.
