Bro, have you also tried Watches of Switzerland... Paragon.. and Vivo... they are also the main dealer... no harm trying... as when i just arrived here and was advised by the "old birds".... want to get a good deal.. got to do more leg work.... good luck and show us your watch when it arrives....

P.S. There is always a saying... try to go nearer month end... SA needs to meet sales target... and are more willing to give better discount.. but of course, your cash must be ready too....

You should ask the SA so why should you buy from him/her since everywhere is the same discount? Ask them go fly kite. I went to Cortina to ask for a Avenger Seawolf. The SA told me standard discount is 25% which is correct but if I confirm want that piece there is room for discussion so what you think? Do a bit of leg work if you confirm want to buy. Show them the $ and I'm sure you can get more discount.

i just enquired at cortina paragon. the dumb salesman told me standard discount is 20%. i did not expose him on the spot, but emailed to the company suggesting that they fire him. always try to have mystery shopper when you run a shop.

cortina wrote a reply apologizing for my unhappy experience. the head office is fast to respond and i appreciate that. they suggested that i can go back to the same salesperson so that he can try working out a best price. but no way am i going back to him. i may just buy it from sincere or WOS.

lesson: never treat your customers as carrot heads, unless you own a monopoly on the product and they have no choice but to take it or leave it.

A friend of mine was told by another salesperson in another Cortina branch that the controlled discount rate by Breitling is 25%. That's a substantial margin from what YYY offered, considering that the watch I have in mind has a retail price of more than $12K. Even if YYY offers 25% discount, he would not have violated Breitling's rule.



I am not keen to be served by YYY again as I perceived him as trying to pull a fast one on unsuspecting customers.



Please bear in mind that Breitling is also carried by other retailers such as Sincere and Watches of Switzerland. I will buy from whoever is most sincere is getting my business.

can someone enlighten me on the max controlled discount rate for breitling?

i was at a WOS outlet last nite and was told it is 20%. used to be 25% but new rate was effective few months back.
