Has ezm3 really gone out of production?

.. When I was buying a ezm3 from THG (after waiting a long time in vain for an ezm1 to pop up at a realistic price) they told me the ezm3 has stopped production too..

Wouldn't change my decision either way, but I'm just curious if that is indeed true?

heard that they will stop but no official announcement from them.

why not buy 2nd hand cheaper? can get below 2k i think for a 1 year old one.
