One difference is the logo on the back case, the rxw logo has a triangle in it whereas the fake does not, however there's a higher end fake with tv exact correct logo, I guess tom then u have to see the different colour tone of the word marina militare

The story is titled 'FS: RXW MM20 Marina Militare Swiss Made 47mm Watch.' and as mentioned by the admin of the forum... 'we do not delete evidence', so the post should be there for everyone to view, and at the same time, serve as a good tutorial for spotting FAKES. Have fun!

Thanks for the tip! I am a newbie in RXW/MM20 watches and didn't know some people would bothered to fake a hommage but the story you posted is a good one to read and a good learning experience too!

BTW, if you google now, you may not find it. you got to first google:
"FS: RXW MM20 Marina Militare Swiss Made 47mm Watch"

Then you come up with own two search results. Go the the second one and within the forum itself, use the search engine, search for "RXW" and you should see the thread.

I trust that the good forum admins kept to their words of "keeping the evidence" and they have nothing to hide.

The thing I learn if I am selling watch on behalf of "my friend", and the watch is not authentic, my reputation would suffer too - so I would better make sure I don't anyhow play play proxy selling without verification.

            Aye....

Reading your replies and Triton's response made my stay in this forum more comfortable. At least I'm not questioned by my methods of raising an alert, unlike the other forum. THAT dodgy character also posts watches for sale in many watch forum neh (this one included? Go find out yourself lor)! So... caveat emptor...buyer beware!!! Buy the seller, not the watch!

destro22bt, i had kinda of "deal" with the person in question many years ago for a mobilephone.

                        definitely not a honest character.

will not go too deep in details alr. but what i got was not what was promised.

and its my own noobieness that i did not know and bother how to check on the date of manufacture then.

But since then, that nick has gone into my books of dishonest sellers.
