  • IWC pilot Mk15 to 17 series, can you swim safely with them?

Just bot a Mk 17, rated at 60 meters WR.. any one has used his/her IWC pilot series while swimming often?
strap can change to rubber no problem.
Its a very convenient way to wind the watch up but if water gets in Koyak, very expensive repairs!

Sure you can swim with them safely but why would you? Do you test your diver watches at 200M?

Imho it should be fine since it is new. Otherwise it would have been rated at 3atm like most dress watches.
