            Heeee~~~
            Different folks, different strokes.
Each one of us are born and brought up and influenced by the difference in understanding of value.
If our income is the same to one another, asking me to scrimp and save for a plate of top class shashimi, or a bottle of wine that may be priced @ more than 200, or a Rolex that equals to 15+ other makes in a single year... I cannot make it. I'll die of hunger, i'll die of thirst, and i'll die of itching remorse.
But if your disposable income is couple of times more than me, i'll die to debt of loans, because watch collecting, like any other hobbies, is addictive. Be it stamps, pens, or... even wines. Once i can sign to one Rolex, other elite marques follows in weeks, months.

You are right..play within your means.

Why I will prefer to save up and get one or two good ones is because I can't fully appreciate if I have such a huge range of watches. If I just get any watch that catch my fancy, I will keep buying non stop and in the end spend much much more than if I could get one or two and be satisfied. I know myself..gotta aim something seemingly unaffordable cos if it's something like $200 or $300 I will be tempted to get more and more!

That said, I love my Seiko and G-Shock too!

Nice - I limit myself to one a year at the most, and this year technically I broke my own rule already because of a special reason (it's always a special reason ain't it?).

I had considered the SYMPHONY before, especially with their much friendlier price than the BAMBINOs... However, the design are sleek... too sleek that the neat design will die along with time.
The lines and sleekness of the case, flat crystal, of the SYMPHONY is quite close to the SEIKO SNZG1x FIELD watches. While the Seikos case are matt, the SYMPHONYs are polished, too polished that it makes a good companion to suits and long sleeves, but won't last along with time... Seikos on the other hand, pairs well with different situations, even if you wear it with your respective full time unit, or reservist time...

This is why i skipped the Symphony... I don't wear long sleeves to work.
