Affordable Bronzos

I know the Helson Bronze Shark Diver is pretty popular here, but are there other affordable bronze watches that I'm missing out on? I'm thinking of scoring one this X'mas.

The Maranez is brass no? Not sure what the differences are between the two.
Oh man, the Montres Militaire is way above what I would pay for a micro/boutique brand.

Not sure what your budget is when defining affordable, but for me there are two more options :

Ennebi
Monsters militare

Ennebi's bronzos come already looking aged cos of its darker color. Monsters militare's looks reminded at first but develops a rugged patina really fast.

The composition of the different elements used affects the color and patina of the watch. Most are copper and tin. Some add zinc into the mix.

No offense to the Henson tropik owners but I find the watch's design unsuitable to be paired with bronze. This is just my warped opinion.

Steinhart's bronze looks too shiny and refined for my liking that's why I have the triton and marine officer a miss and opted only for the nav b as that shows the least skin.

Just my 2 cents.

Offered in SS and German Bronze CuS8n but I opt for Bronze as I understand nothing can take e importance of the Rolex DeepSeaSpecial which was done as a research experiment to prove Rolex's R&D. Basically, I agree that some classic designs looks better in SS, while some looks better with masculine case style. Each make has their appeal to various crowd.
