$4200 for Preowned Super Avenger - Too Expensive?

Hi, I saw this pre-owned Breitling Super Avenger watch (white dial) which sells at $4.2k. It comes with orig. boxes, manual, COSC cert, dated paper & watch is under factory warranty till Nov 2009. As this is my first time buying an expensive Breitling watch, I have no idea whether this price is reasonable. If it is not reasonable, what is the price range I should be looking for a pre-owned one? Can anyone kindly help me out here? Thanks very much.

Not worth it for Breitling currently. In fact, there were many new models of Breitling selling for 4k plus at the Hour Glass Salon Sale.

Thanks everyone. Lucky I did not buy it immediately. As for the sale, is it at Cortina? If so, which branch? Sorry, I'm really new in this - does the sale mean I will get huge discounts as compared to during normal times? How high a discount can I get for Breitling during a sale time? Thanks.

i think I know which piece you are referring to. i cannot comment much on the price but be forewarned that this particular piece is like wearing an abram tank on yr wrist so if u are not at least 6ft tall and have massive forearms, u may wish to try on the watch first then commit. go to THAT shop and ask to look at the watch. there's a full length mirror in the shop which would aid in making yr decision for yr first expensive timepiece.
