Advise on which daily beater to get?

Hi guys, which of the 2 watches u guys think is a better choice?

The IWC Aquatimer 2000, Reference IW356810, 44mm diver, black dial with yellow min arc on the bezel.

or the Oris Aquis Depth Gauge, 46mm diver, black dial with stainless steel bracelet, comes with rubber strap set.

The IWC cost abt $6k n the Oris cost abt $3k, both after discount from boutique. If price not a factor here, which one will u guys go for? Appreciate ur inputs. Thanks in advance...

looking at your avatar, you should have the EXP II, which I think is a perfect daily beater with the new 3187 (parallax shock absorber) and brushed finish almost everywhere...

why need another? just curious

Hahaha... I dun own the Explorer II. Was on my wishlist for a while, but wife keep saying not nice, so never really hurt for it. Shd change my avatar soon I guess...

also think of the few models u mentioned, the exp 2 seems a much better choice.. lol...

putting into the wife factor, have u shown her the few models u have in mind? actually, she'll be a better person to tell u since she knows the type of clothes u usually wear etc...

Hahaha... Not really lah bro, just joking lah... But she did mentioned the white ExII not nice, n for me, too many black dial watch already, so only looking at the White in the first place. Well, maybe I'll consider the white again if can find a reasonably priced piece.

EXP II is a watch that one grows to love..

but given the 2 choices you have there (you LOVE yellow don't you? :P), I will go IWC as 46 of Oris will be too big for my liking

Iwc for me. I think its a more balanced case, not too thick one. You can consider the white aquatimer, I think it looks nice as well (since you owned many black dial watches).

But the IWC black with yellow is a killer for me. The white not so "outstanding" looking. IMO...
