Dear Ball Fans,

There is a reason for not doing an invite here. Of course we value all our customer. but just that we have to consider many factor. We hope to seek your understanding in this area. If you see from the past event at Paragon, be it watch fair or jewellery fair, there is always limited space ad crowd too. Below are the reasons :

1) We have limited space to hold a private event with more than 250 customer, furthermore the event is in a shopping mall.
2) If the crowd is to hugh, the noise level may be too loud too.

But we are also having a roadshow from 12-18 Aug . So you can always come for the roadshow instead of the private event.

Once again we hope to see you guys there on the event or the roadshow.

But rest assure, not many will turn up for the BALLWATCH GTG that may gatecrash( and now that u mentioned, doubt there would be any gatecrasher ). BTW the last BALLWATCH GTG organized by me a few years back through here only got two ppl turn up. Hahaha.

thanks for your clarification and I do appreciate the sharing and assistant that you provided for the Ball fans here. Why i posted the question is because it is not common that you get watch brand representative in the forum. Let's not waste this fantastic opportunity!!! So in sgroc we have the privilege of having Ball representative here which is definitely a plus point for all Ball Fans.

But that said, can this relationship be evolve into something greater and not just post brochure of new products and answering to price queries.

If there are no plans at the moment. Can I suggest some areas of improvement for the time being.

• provide timely updates of new products as I find that Ball S'pore update is way way too slow compare to oversea forum. I believe all Ball fans here got their updates and reports from oversea forum rather than here.
• provide hands on review and pictures rather attaching advertisement and brochure. This will greatly help collectors and members.

This is just my humble observation and suggestion for you consideration. Thanks

Damn feel honor to be a invited. Hehehe. Guess being a koi fish in small pool is better than being a goldfish in the ocean. May I suggest u sent personnel invitation to Mr TanWL as he is one of the more avid hard "gold" core ballwatch supporter here. The next ballwatch fan in this forum that should be on yr invitation list ( if he is not in already) is the dude that post/own around 10 ballwatches in other thread! Cheers! A hands on review by the representative of the brand itself would seem odd to me, so I assume you are talking about a more detailed introduction of a watch but maybe not in the similar manner of a user/journalist review where opinion of the product is expressed.

To what extent a brand is allowed to promote its products on a forum like this depends on the tie-up it has with the forum (a tie-up does not necessary involve money). I believe an independent forum would want to strike a balance between brand-neutral and commercial tie-up.
