To learn about my new product, I've decided to make my own tools, suited for the way I wish to make my straps.
This is my version of an Edge Beveller
It’s supposed to trim the leather edge at a 45deg angle but I guess I made it wrong. It now cuts! Going for Version2...
BTW, this was made from a claw-type screwdriver…modified ten10 style!

Here is my version made from an ear-pick (insert foto)
I bought the wooden handle from a local hardware shop and drilled a small hole to accommodate the thin ear-pick. Once it’s forced in, I glued the base of the thin metal with epoxy.
Next, using long-nose pliers, curl the tip and sharpen it such that it can pierce leather without problems. Since I don’t have a bench grinder, I had to sweat it out using my needle file.
