This is called a “Stitching Pony”. This is something I’ve made from scrap wood and materials lying around my house. This will be intensively used for my upcoming projects.

Now I have my very own Manual Skiver. Designed and handmade by yours truly.
This is an adjustable skiver that can thin down to various leather thickness.
This is a close-up of the leather strap-end being thinned down (skive). It’ll fit up to 30mm width.
