I have demonstrated in my previous DIY post on how to make a watch stand from PP garden tags. That requires you to melt the tags with a solder iron. If a project involving melting of plastics and heat is not your cup of tea, perhaps you could try this one. This may be simpler.
Let’s see how we can make simple Watch Holders like these in 3 steps…
Tools required
Sharp Craft Knife
Try square
Marker pen
Steel rule
Contact glue
Tooth-pick
Materials required
Corner protector’s from “RIBBA” Photo-frame (Ikea)
PU Leather (your choice)
Artcard / Cardboard
Velvet or suede (or any fabric)
Step 1
a) Use the 4 corner protectors from your RIBBA photo frame from the earlier project.
b) Mark out the areas to cut. The front is 30 x 40mm while the back area is 30 x 15mm. Both measured from center. 30mm being the width of my watch pillow.
For the rest of the instructions, kindly refer to the DIY Section of SG-ROC.
Have fun!
