Recently there seems to be a few spammers coming in and advertising all over the place .

Maybe you can restrict newbies with less than 5 posts to start new threads ??

I realised that recently. But I think we can't do that...if we do that,1 problem may occur is that they post in our watch threads and it is harder to track it unless we go into the thread

there is a way around this situation. they are still allowed to post thread. only difference is that their posts will not be immediately display. only when the mod/owner of the forum put a check to the message then will it be displayed in the main.

however, this function available or not in this forum i do not know.

Oh that function. It's to moderate threads...I see..maybe Louis can do something bout it. But if we do that...it wld b very troublesome

Section for Watch Review?

Dear Admin,

Now that we're gradually progressing in membership and awareness among watch owners, how about a section for watch reviews? This will provide watch owners an appropriate avenue to share their frank opinions of the watches they own. For those who wish or are considering to buy a certain timepiece, they can read and gain insights on how other ppl think about the watch too.

Travel and Movies section seems dead, as most ppl who come in are very focussed in getting info on watches. Actually can consider making it a sub-section of kopi-talk or remove it altogether...

keep a look out in sincere watch site. sometimes, they organise talks/seminars on watches. see what interests u. can sign up. i attend one of the IWC watch making class where participants get to strip the parts and re-assmeble them.

the discount given over in swiss is generally lower than sg. their discount also pretty stiff. so in sg, generally cheaper across the board of majority of watch brands. however, once in awhile, you might come across a good bargain.
