Maybe I am using a laptop. The Avatar seems too small to be viewed. I just changed the picture to a close-up shot. Take another example was mleewh's avatar was very small, can't see her cute dog (Sorry, she has taken down the picture already).Comment

generally images will affect the loadup time of a page. that is why i disable all pictures. makes the page load faster.
appreciate that you understand the theory why there is a limit to avatar. some people do not realise how much it cost to run a web server so will request for more pictures, bigger pictures.etc
