Hey Triton,
are we able to change the size of the words? Somehow everything seems abit smaller. Maybe up 1 font size?
(This is below your thread title when you view the threads)

I believe we can cut down on the details? Like just put zen168? So it doesnt get too messy?

most of the things are new features of the vBulletin. part of the reason why such details are included is so that visitors and members know if that thread that has read before. will see if it is possible to change the size of fonts on the information.
also what text you referring to? the started by .... or thread title or?if you have issues with your account, click here for self help and read forum rules here. 90% of your answers can be found in Forum FAQ

Triton, I think there is somthing wrong with the search function...it still does not call up all the posts when I searched by key word.
I used the advanced search exactly the way you told me, selected multi content, typed in key word "nato", searched titles only and sorted by date, the result gave only 7 posts. Some of those thread with nato in the tittle I know for sure exist did not get called up...
Or maybe it is just too complicated for me to use...?Watches are like potato chips - You never stop at one

will work on it. however not intending to do so for time being. reason is it allows members to see when this thread is started and by who and if want to go in and read.
take for example, i started a thread say 2 years ago talking about winders which is of no interest to you. you take a mental note of this thread started by me.
fast forward, current time. a member searches the forum on information on winders and found this thread and post a reply. it comes out top in the page of the relevant forum. you look through and if you noticed that it was a thread i started and it was about 2 years which you made a mental note is no interest to you, you will skip it. however, if such information is unavailable, you may click on link to read it. then realize, alamak, no interest. so if the information is available on the thread index, you can move on quickly to other threads which are of interest to you.if you have issues with your account, click here for self help and read forum rules here. 90% of your answers can be found in Forum FAQ

I personally think the "started by" is quite useful. I believe some of us subconsciously prefer or avoid certain buyers. For example I never open the sales thread of certain private dealer who I know prices are steep or whom I had a bad experience dealing with.Watches are like potato chips - You never stop at one

another vote for the "started by". Esp like what triton said, about bumping of old threads by new members.
Also I tried to submit my post via the (Alt + S) command, but it doesnt seem to work. Tested in both mac/windows environment.Currently wearing:
