is your proporation in reference to the avatar? however, do note that Darkangel avatar is CUSTOMIZED. so it is HUGE.

will you prefer to have the ads by the side or @ the top? or if the ads size is smaller.

I prefer the ads to be smaller actually. Top is actually fine as it doesnt affect the main forum posting window.

The fact the ads kinda 'blinks' would already attract sufficient attention even if its smaller.

Just some thoughts
1) Maybe make it like a banner (i.e. rectangular form instead of squarish? The multiple squares makes it hard to focus)
2) Place some right on top, above the forum main banner and some at its current location and charge differently )

Wahhhhhh! I'm blur like sotong now..... but a pleasant surprise!

Overall, the color scheme seems a little dull, maybe becuz of the lite blue background lah. Perhaps I gotta get use to the new look.

Rgd the advertisor at the top portion: Its a great benefit for them to be the first to be seen. So big some more.

Rgd avatars: best for members to keep it to 115 x 115 pixels max.

sg-roc appreciates all feedback. we will look into all feedback and see how to address members concerns. this is your forum as well. as such your feedback is valuable.

there are many tweaks that have to be done so sg-roc seeks your kind understanding and patience in the mean time as we have our full-time job and studies to manage as well.

as many of you still prefer the old look, we unfortunately cant revert to the old version due to VBulletin design and setup constraints. however we can design and tweak it within means to cater to your needs.

it is with your support and enthusiasm and love for this community that sg-roc has been growing with more and more new members to contribute and share knowledge and expertise in many areas besides just on watches.

please continue to provide sg-roc with your feedback. sg-roc appreciates you. sg-roc will be lining up more activities for members.

sg-roc is currently trying to strike a balance on the size of banners. the banners are to be horizontal rows. however, as sg-roc need the upgrade urgently due to constant down time, we had to migrate the server from overseas to local so that support can be quicker to reduce down time. we are currently getting the advertisers to convert their ads to a horizontal ads. so in the mean time, do bear with sg-roc and advertisers.

the idea of top down ads will mean staggered pricing. so if we place them @ the side, the content of forum is reduced with the new design of vbullentin. notice the side empty space? it is possible to stretch it to 100%, however, not all users share the same screen solution. im using 1280X1024. im not really affected due to bigger screen. if a user is on 15" then you get the stretch effect. hope you understand what im saying.

be default, it should be blue. however being a rolex forum, one of the main signature color of rolex is green. so sg-roc decided to go with green. hope is surprised not SHOCKED. haha

I think having the multiple "Ad space for Rent" banners make the site looks like it is under construction and ugly. Just have space for active ads and then have a line below that says "For advertising opportunities, pls click here...". Also, white background is the best for text i think...

I think green is beautiful, especially for a ROLEX watch forum. Problem is, it is now matching with grey. So it can look rather dull. Though it will take some time to get use to, I think it won't take too long because the basic structures remain the same.

For this, good job!

I quite like the new look. Great work imo. Always room for improvement. Instead of two rows of ads, can have just one row, and wider. so maybe 5 or 6 wide. i reckon 5 is optimal, cos i can see issues with those who use netbook to browse. (later scroll left-right like crazy!)
