Kinda defeats the purpose of the feedback system. the feedback system is there, so if i dealt with you for example, and you screwed me over then i can just put a negative comment.

also; by allowing only good comments; does it represent a true reflection of the trader's character? i doubt so.

so far, i think the itrader system is great, even though i have no feedback as of yet. it saves people having to search for transaction history. since you post something for sale, i can easily with one click find out how well you fare when trading.

in certain forums; you have to create a thread and let people know how good/bad they are. this is quite troublesome with duplicate threads and all the mess attached with it.

I dunno waste how much time meeting pilots b4 liao.. I think perhaps we could have the pilot warning systems so at least a lot of our bros wont waste time waiting for a hard core pilot.

The negative feedback system is to deter errant dealers, sellers or buyers from dealing in sg-roc. Members should only use the negative feedback as the last resort if all meditation between both parties failed. The moderators should have the right to suspend or even ban those members who abuse or leave unfair remarks for others.

people pull out not for fun (some may!) but for urgent and personal unforeseen circumstances. it would not be fair to judge based on one member's story. dont get my wrong; i can definitely see the problem of people being rude about not showing up or cancelling at the last minute.

also when you create a "hostile" situation (such as name and shame); this may prove to be detrimental. as buyers feel obligated, and sellers may feel this is a slower moving forum.

I feel that this is unavoidable, as long as you have a system of rating, or similar to a "reference check" in an online forum like this. You are bound to see both +ve and -ve comments. Even w/o such a function, people can still post comments/opinions/remarks on one another openly, right? At the end of the day, we want people who are discerning and mature enough to know what they are reading. The system of rating is only an added tool to help members who are doing trades in the forum.

I feel that having the iRating system in place in SG-ROC is a good initiative. We can check the brief background of those who had traded in one way or another effortlessly. And not only that, we can also contact those who have been involved in the trade with the seller/buyer, to find out further, if the person you are going to deal with is reliable or otherwise. Again, it is still up to you if you want to "buy the story". A +ve rating to one, may be a -ve rating to another. So, wise up, and do more homework.

Perhaps so, agree with with you bro, dont think they do that for fun, but maybe dont want to trade or buy liao so since it is someone they dunno so they just dont care. It leaves me wondering, how come they cannot try to notify us by calling or smsing?

But I do admit that the recent issue is too way out of hand..

it seems that people will want the option to name people who do not treat others with respect, so maybe we can try this idea, a section to warn buyers by posting a nick, last four digits of phone number and/or other details that was agreed on.

Just click on the right bottom side on the 'Feedback Score 0' and from there you will know how to do it and i did it that way.
