Bro,u can stay @ eaton or Nathan hotel quite nice and it's at Jordan.just 1 street away from temple street and quite central too.if go hong kong I also recommended u to go the outlet shopping mall @ tung chung mtr station to pick up cheap and branded stuff like timberland , club 21 ,adidas,Nike, puma ,Burberry, coach, bally and polo Ralph Lauren.which u also can go sit the ngong pong 360 cable car in a crystal case which the base that u r stepping on is clear glass which u can have a good view of the view under ur feet.PM me if u need more info as I just came back from HK last month.hehe.
oh okok PM you tonight. I go research a bit of eaton or Nathan hotel that you recommended first.
but I gg in May leh..think at that time no good bargains up yet right?
Nathan rooms are much bigger than Eaton. Will advise you to take Nathan. I personally like staying in HK Island, like Tin Hau area, which is pretty near to Causeway Bay shopping belt. If you are looking for good bargain visit HK around end July to Aug. Their sales are really sales (clear summer stocks) not like in Sgp take out old stocks and resell.

Stayed at Prudential in Oct 2008. Paid HKD700/nite.
From Jordan MRT, you need to take escalator up to the hotel (NO elevator!!); i think like 3 levels up!
If you returned late (think by 9 or 10pm), the escalator stop liao.. so u climb escalator like staircase.
If I'm not mistaken, in front of Ethan hotel is the bus stop for the airport bus.
(OR is it Nathan hotel? )
Other than that, the hotel itself is close to surrounding areas.
Thanks everyone for the info thus far. I am still trying to digest the info.
I booked tics with jetstar during their 1 for 1 free promo. Total for 2 px return we paid about slightly less than 600.but come to think of it, might not be too much savings since accomodation seems very ex over there. haiz..think die le lah haiz!!!
