Any branded goods or products to buy in UK?

Dear all,

My colleague is flying tomorrow to UK and out of goodwill, he is asking me what shopping list do i have or rather what any thing to get in UK?

So far i only know Burberrys is from UK and definately will be cheaper than Singapore.But beside that,any good advise or experts who have been to UK can advice me what are good buys or must buy there?

Basically the prices in UK is definitely much cheaper than in SG.
especially when the exchg rate for pounds is low, it might be cheaper than buying in other EU countries using Euros.
I jus bought a chanel earrings from London airport recently and fd it slightly cheaper...
so to save the tax back hassle, can go airport and buy. got quite a number of brands there... u can try search heathrow airport directory for the full list... as far as I can remember, Hermes, Chanel, Bvlgari ...

All branded goods are cheaper in UK than in SG so it's safe to buy anything branded. The price itself for most items is already cheaper than SG even without VAT refund. But Europe is still definitely cheaper than UK by quite a bit.

Most brands there like mentioned are much cheaper as compared to Singapore. Dont find brands like bottega or Feragamo as they do not come from London. You could try the outlet in London. They have alot of brands there and you could be able to find something affordable and in much steeper discount as compared to those in the shops.

Bicester village outlet actually nothing much. Can you believe we went back empty handed esp when you need to take an 1hr ride each to and fro.? haha

Harrods sales june or july (cant rem)can yield better returns.

I bought a prada long wallet for 250pounds exclude vat refund and is cheaper than sg cost about 600++.

Paul Smith and Ted Baker stock a wider variety there than back here. Big brands are not that cheap, minus the VAT there may be some deals to be had, but go with no expectations unless there is a genuine sale.

a pair of good english shoes would be very worth the money. alternatively shop at the large factory outlets that they have.
