Perhaps it would be better to state a Banyan location ? There are a couple of forumers here who travel regularly / agent themselves.

Have not stayed with Banyan resort before so I am also see see look look.

Which Banyan Resort? I am also planning to go to Banyan Tree Resort Bintan, but the price is ezpensive. 1 night stay is equal to 2 nights in Bintan Resort. Those villas with indoor pools are more expensive. Wonder it's really worth? 1 night seems short but 2 nights are expensive, almost 1k.

any Banyan resort also can, I think their most well-known resort are located in Thailand and Bintan. I will like to know whether it's worth the price.

Sorry but I cannot say whether Banyan Tress resorts are worth it but I can say that Aman Resorts are very much worth it.

Wife and I have stayed at Amanjiwo twice, it is about a 10 minute car ride up the hillside from the Borobudur Temple in Yogjakarta Indonesia. http://www.amanresorts.com/amanjiwo/home.aspx

We have also stayed 3 times at Amankila about 2 hour ride from the Denpasar airport in Bali. There are lovely views from the higher bungalows on the hill that look across the straits to Lombok. http://www.amanresorts.com/amankila/home.aspx

Solid looking. I am sure 2 nights is sufficient. Good for those New couples, good to make out in the open !!

What we liked about them was they have no TV's in the rooms only a good Bose stereo so take some good CD's or IPOD too hookup too it. No newspapers are delivered to the room either. They have a large selection of music and books to borrow out of their library and their places are all about relaxtion and falling in love again. Yes speakers can be turned around to point outside at the private pool.

Yes the bungalows are very private so you can go swimming and walk around in the nude as well as anything else you and your wife want to do in the nude. Very very private.

And I can assure anyone that they will deliver 4 Corona bottles iced down in a large champagne bucket as long as you order it.

Oh and for anyone holding an Indonesian Identity card (KTP) or foreign worker's ID (KITAS) their published prices are a 50% discount for those people.

We always stayed on out trips 3 nights and 4 days and I went back to the office on Monday morning a new man.

We did enjoy Four Seasons Langkawi. It was very unique.
From the customer service ( all the staff knew our names and greeted us often )
To the peacefulness of it all, your own slice of the beach, huge room in the villa... indoor outdoor shower...
Infinity pool and nice touches for eg..bucket of iced water + fruity popsicles handed out when you least expect it.
Definitely a worth trip back at some point.

But i would strongly recommend The Naka Island at Phuket. Villas on a private island with your own swimming pool. Entry to island by their speedboat.

See pictures below for more info on the villa

After entering the door, this is the pathway to the pool just outside

Private pool with private cabana area

View of the room, and outdoor shower area and toilet below
