    Hi,

I will be making my first trip to Bali (Bali Emerald Villas) with my family next week and I have a question which I hope the friends here can help answer.

I just came back from Bali. There is a 150000RP charge for leaving the country! Had no more local currency left, but they accepted 20USD instead.

The police also stop tourists on bikes for Kopi money, expect 100000RP

Hotels have the best internet service and fastest com le. If your hotel do not have business centres, along the streets of Bali, randomly you can find internet cafes. Its however quite slow, though not too expensive. I think I remember seeing one internet cafe at tanjong beach area.

Most hotels only have cable internet access. So if needs wifi access which few person can share, may consider buy a portable wifi router.
                  I have one (TP-Link brand - costs $30+) which measure something like 5.5cm x 5.5cm x 2cm.
