What have you heard about the best place to go shopping for rolex?

Surprisingly, I hear its Auckland, New Zealand.

its my first contribution here.
had the opportunity to visit HK, KL, Melb and Auckland in recent months.
Did some really extensive shopping both in spore and overseas as I was shopping for a GMTIIc.

I can confirm that Auckland has the best prices now for Rolex considering the favorable exchange rate and tax free (for visitors). Without converting to SGD, it over 10kNZD in particular for GMT IIc which makes them even more expensive dollar for dollar (before conversion). The prices are from ADs in Auckland paid with Credit card. Did not enquire about possibility of more discount if paid in cash. Not viable firstly because I don't carry so much NZD and I think they are pretty strict on discounts. Nonetheless, i get to earn some pts too with my cc.

Bought mine straight away after finding that they are even cheaper than the PI in HK.
Pieces are limited and popular among the tourists. The AD had to courier the piece for me from the Wellington branch.
Only thing is, one can only claim the watch at custom upon departure.

Am still in Auckland now. Can help to check prices if anyone is interested.
