Can anyone advise if travelling to chang sha is from sg to guangzhou , then take a train ?

If you are travelling alone, try not to take train.
Take Cathay to HK then transit to Changsha by Dragon Air, which will be cheaper than flying to Guangzhou alone by SQ.
