Pretty decent cinematography. Some really decent wide-angle shots.
CGI was used tastefully (scene when the crew looked up into the skies and the massive US b-17 bombing fleet were being engaged by 5 Luftwaffe fighters).
Nice historical touches: hitlerjugend werewolves, hangings by waffen SS, weapons....loved that Brad p. character was rocking a sturmgewehr 44!!!
Storyline: decent, good character portrays, see a range of emotions that the battle harden troops transverse. Even sympathise with the contempt of the US troops when Brad 'coerced' the noob to murder the captured soldier. Have mixed feelings about the little romantic scene though. Did they really need to show how conflicted Brad was feeling and worse, the sudden (kinda expected) death of Emma was unnecessary. Yes we know that war is contrite and brutal, no need to thrust it in and twist for further added effect...
All in all an entertaining movie. Saving Private R was epic in every sense, Fury is a polar opposite with the drama primarily span around the tank crew. If there was anything I hated, it would be Shia Lebeouf who expressed his pain by consistently playing that tortured constipated number.
Did not really like it,some parts were way too slow ....!
Tank fight scenes with American M4 Sherman tanks were pretty well done ! However I did not like the last part !
Nice. Felt gutted I didn't watch it on the big screen
I am war movie fan too
Some parts were slow but that's to build up the characters. WWII movies has been played over and over again till like a broken record. I didn't think the movie can surprise. But I was wrong
Enjoy
The ending was pretty much Saving Private Ryan all over again : )
