Hi,

Anyone here familiar with vintage and collectible Cognac? I have this Cognac boxset in my dad's collection, I am wondering how much is this boxset worth? Someone offered USD$1000 for the boxset with sealed bottlecap, exactly like the one shown below but the box has some signs of yellowing. Is it worth to sell it at this price?

Would the Cognac still be drinkable after almost 30 years?

I cant ans yr 1stQ as Im not a collector of fine liquor.

On the issue of drinkable Cognac, I drank and came out none the worse after I opened a bottle of Remy Martin Louis 13 last yr on the occasion of my dad's birthday after keeping it for 20yrs ... taste of cognac now stay with me in memory only

yes if it's kept properly. But most likely damaged part is usually the stopper aka cork part because they would naturally disintegrate.
