Have tried a few of their soup, eg herbal chicken, buddha jump over the wall... its cheap and good

No doubt their soup is good, but after a few tries, quite sick of it as compare to the normal double boiled soup in my opinion.

Got yam meh? I thought only got pumpkin rice? i always ask for yam but they always tell me only offer pumpkin and white rice.

Have yam rice. But always sold out. I usually have it at united sq.

yes they allow free top up of soup. i was at their latest 3-week old stall at whampoa and the lady there told me to ask for more soup if i want more later.

from what i gather from here, lao huo tang has several bosses and as a result severl outlets. I've so far been to only the amk, united sq and whampoa outlets. there was one at bukit merah but not sure if it's still in operation.
