Angus Steakhouse at Taka is always of high quality and good service since it's run by the Japanese. Their steaks there are fusion with their sauces having a touch of mirin and soy.
Lawrys and Mortons are always tops, like AP and PP haha It really depends on whether you like a traditional steak or Prime Rib. I personally love prime rib, so Lawrys to me is #1. I usually have the Diamond Jim Brady cut at Lawrys. For those who prefer a traditional steak like porterhouse (t-bone) or sirloin, tenderloin etc. Mortons will be #1.
Angus is average and Lawrys serves the worst "swimming" steak. Have not tried Mortons, but usually goes Gordon grill.
The best memory was in mezza9 before the kitchen revamped, now standard dropped, maybe the chef quit.
Just tried Ruth's Chris for Xmas...nice tender juicy steak...tried the 340g ribeye steak...worth the price!
The blue crab cakes for appetizer and cheesecake for dessert are very nice too...
Personally I am a fan of Angus House Steak.
Love their sauce that comes with it as compared to the typical mushroom sauce etc...
Tenderloin is my recommendation....shiok!!!!
Personally like Morton's and Ruth's Chris. Morton's steaks are bigger (and more expensive) but Ruth's Chris has the option of adding $15 for a lump of crab cake and asparagus, which makes it more value for money imho.
