I agree with the general concensus here
Angus Steakhouse at Taka is always of high quality and good service since it's run by the Japanese. Their steaks there are fusion with their sauces having a touch of mirin and soy.
Lawrys and Mortons are always tops, like AP and PP haha It really depends on whether you like a traditional steak or Prime Rib. I personally love prime rib, so Lawrys to me is #1. I usually have the Diamond Jim Brady cut at Lawrys. For those who prefer a traditional steak like porterhouse (t-bone) or sirloin, tenderloin etc. Mortons will be #1.
Then you have your new entrants, CUT, Prime Society etc. All also very good and no brainer, just go.
Finally, if you are not culinarily challenged, I also agree with cook your own steaks. As mentioned in this thread, great affordable wagyus can be found at specialised butcheries like Mmmmm, Hubers etc. I recommend simple preparation of a bit of salt and pepper then panfrying on a ribbed frying pan in butter. Remember to let the steak rest after cooking. For doneness, I can't advise as the fun is in experimenting yourself haha
New suggestion not mentioned here is Pollen at Gardens by the bay. I went there last week and found the steak there to be of a very high standard. 300day aged steak done perfectly, slightly charred on the outside and red inside (m-rare).
Note that the best steaks/prime ribs are all aged.

Hey guys,
Tried somewhere new - Barossa
Its situated at Esplanade, just beside harry's.
Steak (forgot the name) is about 100+ but can be shared between 2 people and side dish is very tasty.
I had garden mushrooms and the other was some gratin.
Steak cooked fairly well BUT service is quite poor.
overall: 7.5/10

I loved Hooha formerly at Pasir Panjang two storey shop house, ambient
very rustic, angmo loved this place. Now they have shifted to Pasir Panjang former bowling centre
88? I loved their steak 200gm is enough, if you're big eater than order 400gm best so far!
Used to have a band up stairs on weekend anyone who can play guitar, drum etc can go on stage to
play and sing! The boss of this place can play guitar very well, can't remember his name, tall guy in
his late 50s, he was playing in a band during his younger days!
