Same applies to char siew rice..

I always eat 2 plates in front of my amazed colleagues.. Which makes me quite sad actually... haha
Remind me of those guys in the 武侠片 who eat few bowls of rice and then stack up the bowls, haha.

But 2 bowls is ok lah, quite common among young men.

I'm surprised no one mentioned about the chicken rice stall at Arcade, Raffles Place level 1! Ultra oily and sinful but it's the best chix rice I ever had, always very long queue.

I'll throw in a vote for Serangoon Garden Pow Sing too, I grew up there and ate there alot, still good. Now have 2 stores, one sells mainly white chicken with all the nyona/peranakan food, the main restaurant, then there's a more tze char + roast chicken rice stall that's in a new place 1 unit away from the main branch, used to be in the corner coffeeshop where the Citibank is now in. The roast chicken rice went upmarket already.
