there's a claypot rice place at big splash. Different style to the C328 and geylang, but not bad. Think it's a hong kong style, it's similar to what i had in London chinatown. There's waiting time, so it's cooked from scratch.

Hi,
I had recently eaten and Ta Bao from the famous store in Geylang.
The Standard had dropped. used to be very tasty and now toward kind of blend and tasteless..Chicken meat portion had lessen too.
Rice is no longer crispy on the side of claypot.. Totally disappointed.
My 2 cents worth !!!

There a newly opened one at jurong west market. but still have to wait though at least 15min. per head at $6. They also have side dished like black bean soup at $3 and bak kut teh too. their board puts chinatown claypot but after eating my and a collegue fees that it is much better then the actual Chinatown and Geylang 33. the chicken inside is fabulous, so succelent and juicy..To Be or not to Be.
