Jai Thai is one of the best I've had in Singapore. Now that there is Nara Thai in ION, worth a try.

I would like to introduce you the mookata tuay kwang Thai Kitchen at No. 9 Townshend Road (next to Jalan Besar Plaza, Maude Road). Operating hours, Sun-Thur (6pm - 6am) and Fri & Sat (6pm - 7am). Best to make reservation, SMS 86869990 indicating name/no of pax/date & time to avoid disappointment.

Food and price wise good. That's explain why the Q has been so long (>10 groups waiting) during weekends.

There is one at Beach Rd 1st floor not bad.

Also another one at Tiong Bahru Market hawker centre,
good & cheap...

Nakhon Kitchen is nice but nothing fantastic. Tried there once and will not return though. I hate queues!

Nara Thai was such a disappointment! The pad thai seafood was average, but the rest of the dishes were quite below standard (even though the pricing was affordable). Even the lemongrass drink was very watered down. Won't go back again...

There's a thai cafeteria in shaw towers beach road Level 1, not bad for quick fix

theres a stall inside a coffeeshop beside wonderlust hotel..most of the customers are from thai..food are quite good

U can try out the economical Thai restaurant at Chong pang, just opposite Chong pang market n beside KFC.

Those staying or working in Toa Payoh can try one new stall at Lorong 7 Food Centre.
Blue signage and behind the stall that sells cheap economical rice. Not bad for the taste and the cook is a thai lady.
