This British clock maker turned watch maker appeared to be near success at one point at the back of some aggressive marketing. Its gigantic lever crown guard differentiated itself from the competition, but we all know who won the battle of huge crown guard. Although its watches offered arguably the highest discount off the list price (40% or so), Graham is no longer carried by any authorised dealers here in Singapore today. Will U-boat have the same fate?

Graham outdated in Sg liao, I personally think U boat will follow suit as it pricing is just not right for some of the model even though the design is solid. Still trying to find the other national watch that azimuth did for sg national day.sigpic

The only watch that I like from Azimuth is the SP-1

The clock-like-dial was inspired by the train clock at Tanjong Pagar (previous) Railway Station. It was designed by a design student if my memory did not fail me.. locally designed for a local brand. That's quite a heritage indeed.
So the question now about the heritage and it's meaning to Singapore. Wouldn't it be more of a significant heritage for KTM, Malaysia and finally Singapore in that order? A faux pas by Azimuth here IMHO
