  • Will you buy ceramic watches?

They are not cheap. The new PAMs are >$10k and the exotic AP and Hublots will take an arm and maybe a leg from you. But they have been recent reports of cracked PAM cases broken IWCs and Hublots which can cost upwards of $6000 to repair. Because ceremics can be scratch proof but very brittle.

    Will you ever buy one?

I didn't get to read how those watch maker worded their advertisement. If they were to claim how good is their materials and later it broke shouldn't it be covered by warranty due to manufacturer defects?

They all show u the vicker hardness and etc but in real life you subject your watch to many different damage that the lab test cannot stimulate. As for scratch prove, ceramic sure scratch prove, it either scratch prove or catastrophic breakdown! Guess watch seller never tell their client that...

Never for me..I personally saw a chip off on a lug of a very branded ceramic watch. Puts me off entirely and forever never never touch a ceramic timepiece again.

To make it worst, the watch makers claimed you drop it and to replace a ceramic case cost thousands of dollars!

No wont buy if the whole watch is ceramic. Looks nice and i like some of them. But cant afford the price and also cant afford the potential maintenance

If money not an issue, def will buy tho.
